Internship Program

ABOUT THE FCI INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

The Farm Credit Illinois internship program provides students with the opportunity to grow and develop both personally and professionally through valuable on-the-job experience, job shadowing, networking, and mentoring. By working with a variety of departments, interns will have the opportunity to explore different career paths. In addition to this, they will have opportunities for day and overnight travel assignments throughout the southern 60 counties of Illinois. FCI interns become part of a family-oriented team working to serve its members. We seek students aligned with our five core values – family, integrity, relationships, expertise, and passion – as well as those who are motivated to find innovative solutions to business needs.

“The Farm Credit Illinois Internship opportunity allowed me to explore the financial sector of agriculture. The experience I received by being out in the field as the sales intern was great. I was able to be exposed to hands on experience with both loan officers and crop agents. I was also super grateful to work along side a great team at FCI.” – Jackson Smith, 2023 Intern
