Farm Financials 1: Statements & Analysis

• This interactive workshop led by FCI experts breaks down the balance sheet in detail and works through completion of an example balance sheet. Learn how to leverage your numbers and crop insurance coverage to manage the financial health of your farm. Sessions offered in the summer and winter.

Farm Financials 2: Benchmarking & Roadmapping

• FCI collaborated with Farm Business farm Management (FBFM) to build on the foundation set in Farm Financials 1. Dive deeper into understanding financial ratios and best practices of successful operations. Leave equipped with tools to better monitor and forecast your farm’s financial trendlines and develop plans to achieve long term business goals. Sessions offered in the summer and winter.

• Hear the latest perspectives on grain markets and timely topics as you plan for the next growing season. Sessions offered in January and February.

Ag Minded Hour

• Join our Ag Minded Hour webinars and learn more about various timely topics. These free webinars are offered at various times throughout the year.

Insure with Confidence

• This workshop explores the fundamentals of the federal crop insurance program and equips you to confidently select the coverage that will enhance your operation’s risk management plan.

• A helpful introduction or refresher, this workshop highlights a variety of concepts farm families should consider when planning for the future.

• Built around connection and shared understanding, this program offers farm women a chance to network, gain new perspectives, and feel more equipped in their day-to-day roles. Look for more information in the summer months.
