• Hotel check in is 3:00pm (EST). Early check in is not guaranteed. If your room is not ready when you arrive, the front desk will store your luggage.

Bus Info

• Space is reserved for you and one guest to ride the bus
• Buses will pick up at locations throughout our region on the morning of Friday, August 2
• You are welcome to drive yourself; FCI does not reimburse for mileage or parking
• All parking at the hotel is conducted by Valet; overnight parking is $40.00 + tax per vehicle per night 
• Bus routes will be posted to this website prior to the 4th of July

Friday, August 2

• 4:00pm (EST) Employee Meeting – Employee attendance required; adult guest optional. Meeting will be held in the Olmstead Ballroom located on level 2
• 4:30pm (EST) Social Hour – Employee and adult guest attendance optional. Social hour in the Olmstead Ballroom located on level 2

Saturday, August 3 – All Saturday activities are OPTIONAL

• 7:00am-9:30am (EST) Breakfast Buffet - make plans for your day with your guest and your coworkers at the OPTIONAL breakfast buffet in the Olmstead Ballroom located on level 2
• 11:00am (EST) Louisville Slugger Museum - Tour the bat factory & Museum. Tour is $20/person. Allow 45mins.
• 1:00pm & 3:00pm (EST) Barrels & Billets Custom Bourbon Experience - Taste 6 different bourbons, learn the history, and create your own unique recipe that you can bottle up take home! Experience is $35/person and your custom bottle can be purchased for $50.00 at the end of the experience. Allow 45min. Note there are two timeslots. Each one can hold up to 50 people.

Sunday, August 4

FAQ’s

• Do I have to ride the bus? What if I want to drive myself?
• You are welcome to drive yourself, but remember that FCI does not reimburse for mileage or parking. All parking at the hotel is conducted by valet. Overnight parking is $40.00 + tax per vehicle per night.
• Do the buses make pit stops?
• If you wish to stop for a bathroom break or lunch, talk with your bus driver or bus boss. 
• Can I bring my child(ren) on the trip?
• Yes! However the meeting, happy hour, and buses are for adults only (18+).
• Who pays for what?
• FCI will cover the cost of your hotel room Friday and Saturday nights, drinks and hors d’oeuvres at the social hour, and buffet breakfast at the hotel Saturday morning. FCI provides each employee a spending allowance of $250. You will see the spending allowance in your 7/31 paycheck.  
• I need to cancel, change, or confirm my plans. What should I do?

• What should I wear to the meeting?
• Your party pants! Meeting dress attire is casual.
• What am I required to attend?
• The only event you are required to attend is the meeting Friday evening at 4:00pm (guest attendance is optional). All other activities are optional for both you and your guest.
• How does payment work if I go to the Louisville Slugger or Custom Bourbon Experience tours?
• The cost for the ticket will be deducted from your 8/30 paycheck following the trip.
• I want to extend my stay in Louisville. Can I keep my room at the Omni?
• You can extend your stay but are responsible for the cost of the additional night(s). You can get the Farm Credit rate ($209 per night) 3 days prior to and 3 days after our event dates. You must contact the hotel directly to extend your reservation and then let Amy Hayes know.       
• Do I have to work if I don’t attend the outing?
• Employees who don’t attend still receive a day of annual leave. Please make arrangements with your supervisor to select the date. Additionally, if you don’t attend, you’ll still receive the $250 stipend in your 7/31 paycheck.
• When do I need to sign up for the Summer Outing by?
• If you plan to attend, please be signed up by April 30.
