Jackie Goode, of Greenfield, joined the Jerseyville regional office Dec. 17, as a sales and service specialist. The Jerseyville office serves farm families and rural landowners in Calhoun, Greene, Jersey and Macoupin Counties.

Were you raised on a farm?

I grew up on my family’s Greene County grain and livestock farm and graduated from Greenfield High School. If I could work full-time on the farm, I would be a cattle farmhand; I love watching new calves being born.

What interested you in the role of a sales and service specialist?

I have always been interested in numbers and earned an associate’s degree in accounting from Lewis and Clark Community College. I help many positions in accounting before joining FCI, but was interested in learning more about loan processing when this position opened.

I previously worked for one year as an accounting associate at Illinois College in Jacksonville, for five years as a branch manager at Farmers State Bank in White Hall, and for 15 years in various roles with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois in Jacksonville.
