What interested you in a career at FCI?
I had heard of Farm Credit’s reputation for a strong culture, vision, and work environment. I wanted to be part of a larger purpose and mission to support rural communities and agriculture. Before joining FCI, I worked for 23 years at State Farm Insurance Bank in Bloomington-Normal in various accounting analyst and managerial roles.
Tell us about your upbringing.
I was raised in LaSalle County and graduated from Streator High School before receiving a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. I am also a licensed certified public accountant.
What’s one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
I was born on Friday the 13th and once was in an accident after a black cat crossed my path. I’m a bit superstitious!
