Farm Credit Illinois recently hired six college students pursuing an agriculture-related career to complete a 12-week summer internship.

Kaylee Gerlach (Strategic Marketing Intern) is currently a Sophomore at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign majoring in Agricultural Communications. She is involved in Collegiate Farm Bureau and the 4-H House Cooperative Sorority. Kaylee joined FCI this Spring and will continue her internship through the summer. Kaylee is from Waggoner, Illinois.

Jayce Meier (Finance & Accounting Intern) is currently a Junior at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is double majoring in Finance and Accountancy in the Gies College of Business. He is involved in Volunteer Illini Projects and his fraternity, Alpha Gamma Rho. Jayce is from Ashkum, Illinois.

Emma Pistorius (Generalist Intern) is currently a Sophomore at Northern Oklahoma College. She is actively involved in the Illinois 4-H Livestock Ambassador Team and is a competitive member on the Northern Oklahoma College Livestock Judging Team. Emma is from Blue Mound, Illinois.

Ila Richter (Generalist Intern) will return to FCI for a second summer. She is currently a Junior at Murray State University majoring in Agribusiness. While on campus, Ila is involved in Agribusiness Club and Baptist Campus Ministry. Ila is from Lerna, Illinois.

Mason Siegrist (Sales Intern) is currently a Junior at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign majoring in Agricultural and Consumer Economics. He is actively involved in his fraternity, Alpha Gamma Rho, and works on campus at the ACES Library. Mason is from Bloomington, Illinois.

Blake Twenhafel (Generalist Intern) is currently a Junior at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign majoring in Crop Sciences in Crop Agribusiness. On campus, he is actively involved in Collegiate Farm Bureau and Field and Furrow. Blake is from New Baden, Illinois.
