Hellman Joins Sherman Farm Credit Team

Farm Credit Illinois recently hired Blaine Hellman, of Emden, as a vice president of crop insurance in the Sherman regional office. The Sherman office serves farm families and rural landowners in Logan, Menard, and Sangamon Counties.

Hellman was raised on his family’s Logan County grain farm and graduated from Hartsburg-Emden High School before receiving his bachelor’s degree in agriculture and consumer economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Prior to joining the Farm Credit team, Hellman worked for three years as a Pfister Seeds district sales manager for DowDuPont based in Emden. He was also employed as a commodity merchandiser at ADM for three years in Havana and three years in Rensselaer, Ind.

Hellman is a member of the Logan County Farm Bureau Young Leaders, Sons of American Legion Post #506, and Lincoln Elks Lodge #914.
